FAREWELL TO FORMER PRIME MINISTER OF JAPAN SHINZO ABE
Farewell to former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, a great friend of the Vietnamese, a person who started the HECI center!
We are deeply saddened to say goodbye to former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, a talented politician, and a great friend. He always supports the Vietnamese in all aspects of our lives, particularly in the medical field.
At the APEC summit in Da Nang in 2017, former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and former Vietnamese President Trần Đại Quang signed a commitment on a Health joint project between the two governments, in specific a cooperation between Cho Ray Hospital and the International University of Health and Welfare (IUHW) in Japan. This cooperation focus on health examination and cancer screening using the Ningen Dock model of Japan.
The HECI center at Cho Ray, a joint project between the Vietnamese and Japanese governments, was established on the 14th of October in 2018. After four years of operation, the center has detected and cured numerous health diseases including early-stage cancers, building trust and credibility with the people of Ho Chi Minh city as well as the whole country.
Having accomplished as today, HECI is thankful to former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, former President of Vietnam Trần Đại Quang, the governments, and the dedicated efforts of dearest teachers and colleagues from both IUHW and Cho Ray Hospital. HECI extends our deepest condolences to the family of Sir Shinzo Abe, his spirits, and the people of Japan at this difficult time. Once again, we are grateful for Sir Shinzo Abe’s contributions to the birth and development of HECI. Kindest regards.
