THE NECESSITY OF NINGEN DOCK

According to Prof. Takahiro Amano – Honorary Director of Sanno Medical Center, Advisory Professor at International University of Health and Welfare Japan, Former Head of Keio University Medical Education Supervision Center, 42nd President of the Japan Society of Medical Check-up, late detection of cancer would affect the patients’ quality of life and can be life-threatening in severe cases. Thus, regular health check-ups are crucial for early detection of cancer and identification of risk factors.

     1. THE PURPOSE OF REGULAR MEDICAL CHECK-UPS

The purpose of regular medical check-ups is to detect and treat diseases in the early stage. Many diseases, including cancer, progress silently and have no specific signs or symptoms in their early stages.

     2. WHY SHOULD YOU GET ANNUAL MEDICAL CHECK-UPS?

Avoiding medical check-ups would increase the risks to your health. Annual medical check-ups could promote the prevention, early detection, and treatment of non-communicable diseases, including cancer, to ensure the quality of life.

     3. CONFIRM THE RESULTS OF MEDICAL CHECK-UPS

After receiving the results of medical check-ups, you could compare the results with those of previous years to monitor your health status.

     4. VISIT DOCTORS FOR FURTHER EXAMINATION

The core of Ningen Dock is to monitor and control the abnormalities promptly right after the detection of abnormal results. The mindset that ”As there are no symptoms, there is nothing to worry about” should be avoided. Based on the results of medical check-ups, you should visit doctors to receive further tests and treatment from specialized doctors.

     5. ADJUST DAILY HABITS TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH

Daily habits can be adjusted by individual’s will. Adjusting daily habits to maintain health is crucial in disease prevention.
